These are just some of the wonderful, quirky, and lovable canines that make up the fabric of my crazy, chaotic, and charmed little life.
BELLATRIX & STANLEY
These lovable blockheads live in Queen Anne and make me so happy. They are incredible ambassadors of their breed. I love them.
Bellatrix: American Bulldog, age 3
Stanley: Staffie-Mix, age 4ish
Bellatrix: Eliciting as much affection from humans as possible, lazing about in crazy positions in her chair by the window, turning humans into putty with her puppy-dog eyes, cuddling, sleeping, giving kisses. Eating Stanley’s poop.
Stanley: Being lazy, Laying on top of his favorite humans, giving kisses, string cheese, going on walks.
Bellatrix: Bell, Belly, Belly-bean.
Stanley: Stan, Stanny, Stan the Man, Pumpkin-Head.
CHARLIE & COCO
This exuberant duo resides in the Crown Hill area and they start off my Mondays with abundant laughter and a ridiculous amount of smiles. I love them as if they were my own.
Charlie: Chocolate Lab, age 7
Coco: Pittie/Lab Mix, age 4
Charlie: Anything edible, sneaky face kisses, bounding up to other dogs with reckless abandon. Sidenote: Charlie is the happiest, jolliest canine I have EVER met.
Coco: Stalking squirrels, darting around the dog park as fast as canine-ly possible. Leaning in for pets and kisses.
Charlie: Brown Bear, love.
Coco: Cokes, love, baby girl.
This girl is a muscly little beast with a huge personality. She resides in Greenlake with her lovely parents, and she always makes me laugh with her crazy antics.
English Bulldog, age 3.
FOOD & CHILDREN. (Not children as food). Doing absolutely anything that results in her receiving a treat. Doing a weird groaning thing when she wants attention or wants the food you’re consuming. Planting on walks when she doesn’t approve of the direction you’re headed in. Attacking you with her meaty paws so she can lick your face into oblivion.
El, Ullie, Ul.
This large love makes a home in East Greenwood, where she charms everyone she meets. I love my walks with Maggie, they are so easy and relaxing – she’s a bit of a slow mover, so we chill out and take our time.
Great Pyrenees/Polar Bear/Lamb, age 7.
Plopping onto her back and rolling around on the grass! Treats, treats, treats. Stranger attention…she tries to get me to walk to the college EVERY TIME –- she knows she’ll get lots of attention and admiration. Smart girl.
This goofball shares a home in Magnolia with two feline buddies, Tick & Tock. He is the quirkiest dog I’ve ever met and he never ceases to make me laugh. LOVE HIM.
Pittie/Chocolate Lab Mix, age 3
Raw bones, broccoli (any kind of veggie, really), long walks, prancing around the house and demanding food, lazing in front of the fireplace (and barking at any weird sound it makes).
